I don't know of any issues, it should be a nice PC, I might have picked a modular PSU, an NEC DVDRW and an X1950XT card instead but that pretty much just comes down to personal preference. :)
 
I did look at the moduler PSU but i dont see too much of a difference and it was £20 more.

I know Ati is faster in some games but they have some driver issues in OpenGL with the Lightwave 3d animation package.

As for the NEC drive...preference like you say. Ive got 2 sony drives already and have never had a problem with them. Stick with what you know
