Ok first off.. ive installed a SSD drive 120gb corsair 3 and as a second drive i have a barracuda 7200rpm 1tb sata 6gbs oem

windows has successfully installed to the ssd ( only 74gb left.. WTF ) ;0

but i cant see my other hard drive in windows, it shows up in the bios.. can anyone help??

oh and re the space windows has taken up on the ssd.. is this normal this is my first ssd computer. i also installed graphic drivers on it but stopped there. Till i get my other drive installed.

74GB is about right, you dont 120gb to start with. File system takes up space. You not seeing your other drive because its not formatted yet, go to start, right click computer, manage then disk management and format your drive.

Turn off hibernation (file size is equal to your amount of RAM) and disable system restore (if you are ok with that).

You will save some space that way.
