Hi all, I just built a new pc and ordered all my parts from ocuk, but i'm having some serious problems. The Pc is crashing, sometimes the screen will go funny and other times it will just freeze up..

Here are the parts I have

Abit AN-M2HD nForce 520 Micro ATX (Socket AM2) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+ 2.20GHz (Socket AM2) - Retail

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC)

All I have done is install Windows Xp, any ideas on how to fix this would be much appreaciated...

Thanks :)

Have you chacked the memory? Make sure you are supplying it with enough volts. If you are happy with this, then run memtest86+ just to eliminate any memory problems.

Edit.. it's on board video - sorry. I'm wondering also video RAM?

In abitEQ it says my ram voltage is 1.86v (limit 1.67 - 2.04)

Is that what you mean? Is that the right setting?

Sorry i'm not really very clued up on all this

Thanks :)

could anyone tell me if these settings are correct please?

Thanks :)

Sghould be running at 400mhz and at around 1.9 to 2.3v depending on how good your mobo is with v drop. Put it at 2.1v and try run it at 400mhz or doesn't your board do that?

I've put it at 2.1 and it's still the same, i've never really messed with these settings before, is there anything else I need to do mate?

Thanks :)

No, do you think I should?

edit: I did install all the drivers on the disk that came with it...
