Looking on the site, there are also a few other games on sale, including Batman AA:GOTY for £7.49. Tempted by that, as I've never got round to it before.

Just bought this. I was looking for something cheap and fun to keep me occupied for the rest of the week before going back to college, so this is perfect.

You should definitely get it as it's one of the best action games of the last few years. I would advise playing it with a pad though.

yes - had no problems Edit: - sorry i bought th retail version and installed it fine - not this 6.49 version
- this game is great fun and at that price it's a steal.
As i said in the other thread on the topic in the console forums (I have it on PC but hey ho) i did not get into it the first time i played - but i gave it a chance last month and am still playing (got approx 35 hours play time in so far).
as value for money games go this must surely win hands down.
so many vehicles and i firmly belive that game world is the most amazing sandbox world created for pure fun and scale.

u get given the code and a download link when u pay.
u can put the code into steam and just use it from there, no need to use the download link at all.
thats what i did, so now i can just download it when ever i want to from steam
Nothing to it. Just create your account, pay for it, then it gives you a standard receipt with a link to dl it at which you can ignore and the activation code for steam. Just copy/paste it into the 'activate game on steam' thing and dl it through steam instead.

I didn't even download anything from eidos, just used the key from the pop-up window on Steam and it worked.

A few other retail outlets have the game for £7.99 and £9.99 respectively. Due to the massive slash in price not too long after release I thought I'd actually try the demo before buying it.

Put a space in the postcode, when i did it, had no space and got an error, put a space in and it worked.

Make sure you enter the rest of address properly.
As for downloading/linking the game via steam, just enter the activation code in steam and voila you can download and pause the game from steam

Just enter your details, pay with card, it gives you download link and underneath is the key.
Opened Steam, activated key, downloading now.
That took less that two minutes.
