Benn having this problem with my Just Cause 2 game. I was playing it fine and happy on steam for ages, and then when I had to reinstall Windows, I loaded it up and it kept crashing. I verified the integrity of the game files and it told me there were 6 that needed fixed, and ever since then it just won't download anything.
I've tried deleting the local game files and reinstalling from DVD, but it hangs at the stage 'preparing just cause 2 for installation'. Same happens when I try to download the files.
Been in touch with steam but none of there advice has helped either, so wondered if anyone here had any suggestions?
