Both of these are now available to pick up new and delivered for under a tenner each.
Anyone got anything good or bad to say about the games?

both are great games, though JC can get a lil samey after a while, its more of a play for short bursts ,rather than long bursts game, it is really fun flying around and liberating people.
Prey has a great story, and very good graphics, pretty good voice acting, another enjoyable game, I played it for hours at a time. The gravity mechanics are good. Both are easily for the asking prices.

Prey has an ok (ish) single player stroy to go through - it won't take long as levels are very simplistic. Don't bother with the multiplayer as it's truely awful. Worth a tenner for the singler player imo.

Prey was OK(ish), I had it on the PC because I prefer M/KB. I enjoyed Just Cause and found it a real blast, nice find for a tenner tbh :)

Just Cause is well worth a tenner imo but as said above its a bit repetative. Lots of fun to be had though.
Prey is ok, just another walk and shoot game, but you could be looking for that.

I'm currently playing Shrek the Third with my 4 year old so anything a little more grownup would be great.
I liked Condemned, Kameo, Tombraider, GoW and Gun very much so I think single player walk and shoot might well be my thing lol.
I can't find some of the hidden items in Shrek the Third and want the gamer points so if anyone else has played it through.....

Prey is ok, nothing special mind you. By it's half way stage I was literally bored to hell and was begging for it to finish. Great intro for the game, but it just went on and on too far I found.

I really enjoyed Prey, it was better than Quake 4 at the time and just a nice game to play with good graphics and an interesting story.

I can't wait for the sequel.

Just Cause is definitely cool and parachuting off mountains etc.. is a right laugh, but by mission 2 you have seen the variety the game has to offer.

Is JUst Cause as explorable as it looked from the demo? I've heard that the open level is huge, is it worth just wandering in? thats what i love about sandbox games like that.

Yep it opens up into a mahoosive map, with great explore and enjoy gameplay.

The plot is good fun if a bit short, the side missions and liberations get a bit samey but the game draws you in and keeps you playing if only to try out new ways to hijak a vehicle or kill stuff.

The map is huge, but its best not travelled on foot, otherwise its jungle, jungle, jungle...oh, a village...
Its best from the air
The story missions are the best part of the game, but if they are done all at once I guess it would be over quickly. I liberated the entire island which broke up the story a lot but the game did last a while.
Both games are well worth a tenner.

What's Gun like?

I really enjoyed gun. Good story line, quite a large open map with lots of side missions that you can do if you want to. Old fashioned wild west weapons, quite a good romp. I think it was massively underated, as was condemned.
You can pick Gun up cheaply too especially second hand.
