Just Cause [x360]

A couple of sites seem to be showing a release date of 18/9 for the 360 version of this and are showing it as in stock.

Anyone picked up a copy of it yet?

I have a review copy coming tomorrow. I won't be able to give a review like post but I can tell you if it's good etc.

This and Gears of War are what im waiting for, till Halo 3 and Mass Effect come out.. o and Assassins Creed, but they're 2007.

Hopefully the physics/handling of the demo have been overhauled for final release - they were quite terrible imo

I would get it but will be getting the godfather as i loved in on PS2 so getting it on 360 and PSP

Got mine on pre-order from gameplay, still says the 22nd on their site for release date, but ive just checked the jersey company and they say its in stock, although delivery is normally 3 days or so from there so ill still get it from gameplay in about the same time.

Screenselect have also got it in stock for the 360, but only offer the ability to reserve it on the other platforms.

The demo was shockingly awful. I would be interested to hear if the full game is any better.

Might not like my review then...

I didn't find the demo that bad. I thought the island looked sweet but the characters looked 007 N64 style.

Gameplay was quite linear and dull though.

Handling... was just like GTA so I don't know what people are on about there.

EDIT:: Also chances are I have a few games coming, a new monitor, and some phone calls I need to make so someone will need to bump this thread up and tell me to say what its like.

I already have a widget for Konfabulator which is my To do list...

but with my new monitor I will be busy testing it on games so no time to look at my wallpaper lol.

In that case ... if you have time to look at a website (forum), make a reminder in paint and set that as your web browser homepage!

I really enjoyed the demo, all depends on what you like i suppose. Thought the graphics and gameplay were far better than the likes of saints row, but everyone has a different opinon.
Everyone raves about Dead Rising, but i brought it and sold it 4 days later, just couldnt get into it... and well Test Drive unlimited i thought was really bad, graphics and gameplay just werent anything out of the ordinary, whereas i thought the graphics in just cause were very detailed and look crisp.

I'm really looking forward to this too, I've had a great time with Saints Row (and love the GTA series). Judging from the demo, which I thought was excellent, this should be an interesting take on that kind of game.
