Just Cause

I played this on the 360 and really liked it, but I didn't get on with the mouse/keyboard controls on the PC version though.

I have a wired controller so may have to try and see if I can hook that up with the PC version.
 
tried to like this but the demo i played on the pc was rubbish.

i wasn't that impressed by the gfx, the island/water looks good from a distance but the characters, cars and close up textures looked a bit iffy (and yes i was running with maxed settings).

the handling of the cars was dire too.

just my opinion mind.
 
OMFG just watched your video, looks AWESOME!!! But then I skydive every weekend so this really appeals to me! :D

edit: nevermind I googled it. ;) Downloading the demo now, but I can bet I'll be ordering it soon!

OMFG is there a multi player???? If there is we could have an FS (Formation Skydiving) competition!! Where in the air you get into positions in the air relative to other people, docking with them by grabbing their legs/arms etc, the goal being to get as many formations as you can in freefall, this is AWESOME!!!! :D :D

ZOMG base jumping too!! This game has made my day.

Have to agree with the guy above - played the demo and wasn't impressed. Surprised as I thought I would like it, cause I love the GTA series.

Car handling was ****, and you just couldn't die. I swear I sucked in more lead than my body weight and still I was running around like nothing happened. I know it is all mean't to be about fun, but ridiculous!?!? making a game more realistic (not totally realistic) doesn't mean it won't be fun. Throwing stuppid AI NPC's upon stupid AI NPC's at a player doesn't make a good game.

Very consoley imo.
 
i cant put this down its great fun, the demo doesnt do it justice because the cars are naff on the first part of the island the handeling etc all gets better as you progress and it becomes easier to die as the missons get harder like attacking army bases that have sam sites lol its definatly been worth the £18 quid it cost and i should think i will play this one all the way through. oh and i love the grenade launcher ! :cool:
 
Great fun - played it for hours on end, but the aiming is a bit spastic. The vehicles are great fun, though, as is the Skydiving. It's very Action-film-esque.

The Serious Sam series pops to mind, very succesful and its pretty much as above, just constant streams of bad guys to blast.
 
Been playing this game since it came out, great fun.

Island is massive, took me about 5 minutes to fly from one end of the island to the other!
 
I am on the 5h mission and loving it, I like it way better then GTA and the graphics are gorgeous, the freedom to do a mission how you want is awesome. It's Hilario's shooting the grappling hook at a helicopter then hijacking it lol.
 
just finished the demo, cant say i am too keen on it.

Lots of room for improvement and a timed mission is usually a bad idea for a demo, the player will feel too rushed through by it all.

Think i may load it back up and replay but ignore the mission and just explore!
 
The car handling could be better in this game, But i am hardly in the cars. I spend most my time in the Air or in the water. Sky Diving is so much fun in this game!
