Just changed my hotmail password now windows 10 says i have a password protected account?

Hey.

So with the news of hotmail accounts being hacked i thought ok ill go change my password. So i did so i use my computer as usual then turn off. Just turned it back on and was requested to input a password, so used my new one for hotmail and it worked but i dont like logging into my pc with a password everytime.

I tried the net user thing with admin cmd tool but that gave up a error so cant do it that way.

Anyone help me remove password from admin account in win 10. I think maybe my hotmail is linked to my ms account somehow. Grr.

Win + R, enter "netplwiz", highlight your account, and uncheck user must enter a password. Fill out the details in the window that pops up then you should be done.

Found out u can switch from a MS account to a local account so did that and seemed to have restored my account to a non passworded one.

Will keep what u said in mind incase i need it tho so cheers for the reply.
