...but what is the white stuff that's in my T-line? I haven't put in any additivies and just used de-ionised water.

If anybody else is thinking about watercooling the DON'T buy a second hand radiator unless you're gonna colour the water. I've got pink residue collecting in my CPU and GPU blocks because the guy who had my rad before my used a dye.

Temps dropped a good 4 degrees after cleaning it out though. :)

To properly clean a rad start by filling it with 50% mix of vinegar and water and leave it for 2-3 hours... Pour the vinegar out and down the sink.

Then simply attach a hosepipe to one of the barbs, as hosepipe is 1/2" id too ;) Use a hoseclip so it doesnt pop off.

Turn the pressure up and use it to water the garden for 10 mins... Should flush out any dye's and deposits.

Do it outside...

How would he leave the 50% water still in the rad and only pour out the 50% vinegar? :p
