Just completed Crysis...what next

I just completed the SP Crysis and WHOA what a beautiful looking game, played through most of it on high at 1680*1050 so very impressive, especially loved the gfx until the alien caves bit. It was fun to play but a little short i thought and it was far more fun against the koreans than the aliens.

I cant help but think, where do i go from here i tried the MP but it's a bit cr*p so will probably sell the game now TBH (edit: guess not just checked prices and it's not worth it), cant see myself playing thru it again although the benchmark could be useful for testing OC on gfx card...

Any other FPS out there with awesome gfx and good SP gameplay (have COD4 and BF2 for online relief ) or am i stuck waiting for something new to come out?

Call of Juarez is a good one.
I love it, it's a good game, get the free DX10 expansion and you're laughing.

could try bioshock for single player if u have not all ready.Also i have been playing fuel of war which is ok apart from spawn killers but the single player is rubbish.

I second the Call of Juarez comment. It's a pretty awesome game if you don't mind some numbing stealth sections.

Bioshock.

Stalker, obviously older that Crysis, but I'm replaying it now on my new system maxed out and the dynamic lighting is amazing me at times. Even just taking out an artifact and watching the lighting from it is impressive.

Fair play to you for finishing Crysis. I got mind numbingly bored at the aliens bit and gave up on it - is it worth persevering from here? I can second Bioshock as a worthwhile shooter - some really nice graphics and good storyline to boot.

3rd Bioshock here, just playing through it again on hard with no respawn points for a laugh. Still as good 2nd time round.

Failing that, try Quake Wars online. It's been slated round these parts, but I really enjoy it.

Not really no, only for a sense of self satisfaction. Inside the spaceship u (where u r now) u just float around a bit until (by luck it seems to me) u come across the way forward the only indication being little cut screens and auto saves

Nothing after that is as much fun as the jungle beforehand imo

Exactly- for self-satisfaction purposes . It isn't as good as the earlier levels fighting the koreans however I still think from then on it's good in that they're a lot different in style and makes a change.

But yeah - not as good as the earlier levels imo

I am also up for playing a new game until the likes of mass effect and R6 V2 are out, I'm dying here and not many more green herbs left to fill my health bar and no red herbs to mix to increase the capacity!

I'de also be interested in hearing any FPS that rival Crysis and COD4 on atmosphere and feel.

Just working my way through Stalker now and it's fantastic fun, even with the RPG-esque nonsense. Hated FEAR. So anything else that looks pretty and more importantly *feels* good to play. Like you there. In it.

Going to grab HL: Ep2 and the cinematic mod first i think. But open to suggestions from there on

wish they'd make an AVP3, the SP and MP in both games before were excellent, would still play now if the gfx were better. The story line of the first 3 was great how they intertwined with each character whether u were marine, predator or alien.

I'd say definitley play it again as alien or predator, personally i never bothered with predator/human they were too much average FPS run and gun whereas the alien story was unique with the ability to climb walls and basically all physical attacks.

My vote goes for the pred game, think the marine one scared me too much so i never completed it the expansion for AVP2 was excellent too, tho not many people played th MP (as always seems to be the case with expansions - wish they'd just release them as patches to the original ).

Max Payne were good for the first time but got boring quick due to run/gun/repeat throughout the levels much like FEAR :/

i second Max Payne 1 and 2, and cast a vote for BioShock. Bioshock has got to be one of the best games i've played; if not ever, then this year...
