Just Completed new build

finished putting together an silverstone sg01, Q6600, 4 gig of ram jobbie. Just installed XP. Now i'm a little bit out of the loop so are there and patches or drivers i need to get the most out of the quadcore and 4 gig of ram.

cpu's and ram don't have drivers, but just download the latest chipset drivers and you're sorted.

well you'll need to obviously install all the drivers and things, and you may want to update the BIOS for compatibility reasons, but other than that there are no critical patches for hardware which are not part of there respective drivers akaik.
