Just cracked monitor

was cleaning earlier today and moved the monitor, as i was hovering i knocked the screen on the floor and by the looks of it ther is a small crack now on the screen just down to the right frok the center.

Do i have any insurance from viewsonic of OCuk from this damage?

Im guessing OCuk defienty not but say if i told viewsonic some other story would i get a free replacement plastic cover bit. Im not sure how the monitors work, looks like the glass/plastic bit is in front and then the stuff behind. anyone correct me?

Sorry to hear that I doubt it's covered under the warranty but it may be covered under your household insurance.

Do you have home contents as part of your house insurance? If so claim, that's what it's there for.

All viewsonic will do is charge you a furtune to fix it I'm afraid. Accident damage isn't part of the warranty. Doesn't hurt to call them though but it's unlikely to achieve anything.
