OK, so I've just reinstalled Win7 onto my SSD, and want to get origin(bf3 etc), and steam (A lot of games), back on my pc.

STEAM> I've just installed steam on the SSD, but what's the best way to get my games without having to re-download it all and without sticking it on the SSD? I've got steam mover, but I'm not quite sure how to use it to point to an existing directory on my HDD?

Origin> Any idea's on this one? Again.. Origin is fine on the SSD, but I don't want the games on it. How best to proceed without a shed load of downloading?

just create a shortcut on your desktop from your steam.exe(the one thats on the hard disk).

nothing else needs to be done.

It's ok.. just created the shortcut, seemed to work just dandy. Excellent... I like standalone programs, so much bloody easier.

Anywho.. any idea's on BF3? Update: For BF3 all I did was this: Reinstalled Origin. Closed down origin... then copied the entire (origin games) folder from the HDD to the SSD, restarted origin, and double clicked bf3... it installed it. job done. (To copy I actually used steam mover, but what I will actually do is do it the other way around to get BF3 on the HDD I think).
