I am 99% sure I am right on this one but it never hurts just to double check. I am buying a computer tomorrow from a shop which will come pre-installed with a 32bit version of Vista Home Premium.
I am wanting to install a 64bit version of Windows Vista Home Premium on the unit and have a oem disc with me to do it.
The oem disc has had its key used on another machine but am I right in thinking that I can install the media from the disc and then use they key on the new machine to activate it?
I remember reading an article from the Microsoft site regarding this issue but after searching for it now I can no longer find it. Anyone know the article that I am thinking of?
