Just finished devil may cry 4...

..And thought it was pretty awesome!

The graphics were brilliant, the story was good, and the gameplay was pretty much superb

Got it free with me new xbox , so Im more than happy with this game!

i thought Ninja Gaiden was miles better, got to mission 15 before i got bored

While ninja gaidens game play is superior i'm willing to let this game slip slightly on that front as it replaces it with awesome cinematics and a much stronger storyline - things that i feel are very important in games.

I've completed it twice, once on Demon hunter and again on son of sparda thoroughly enjoyed it both times.

I love this game! Haven't completed it yet tho. Still have Pro Street, DMC4 to complete. GTA4 out soon and just ordered Dead Rising tonight. Can't play until I finished Uni tho (Architecture is a pain in the arse).

Dante has loads more moves than Nero. I admit I did have trouble getting to grips with him but once you unlock all the moves for Rebellion (his sword) he is brilliant.

You can also select Automatic mode before a mission and the game will pull off combos for you just by mashing attack buttons.

Ditto. Hadn't played any of them since the 1st one on PS2 and it didnt feel any different.

Glad it was only rental.

There's a massive amount of dpeth to the combat in DMC4 - i'd say it's more involved than Ninja Gaiden and certainly offers more scope for being creative in your combos. Not one for people who want to button mash their way through. To those dismissing it after a short play - I doubt you even scratched the surface.

I loved the first game so bit the bullet today and bought it from my local store.

£23 for the Collectors edition. I'm a sucker for limited/collectors edition games.
