Just fitted a filtered faceplate. Can I remove the filters?

Pretty sure this is a dumb question but I've just fitted a filtered faceplate to the bottom half of my master socket. Now that the adsl connects directly to that, can I remove the filters from the phones in the house?

Oh, I'm pretty impressed with the results so far. Managed to sync at an extra 1mb!

Provided your phone extensions are wired off the phone side, yes.

yer as above if the extensions are connected from the actual phone plug socket then you can, had a BT engineer do this to our just 2 days ago
