Hey guys,

Just formatted as my install was getting a little tired.

Installed everything and going great, although have a problem when I try and watch any MPGs or AVIs. They are almost black! Both in Windows Media player and BS Player.

Ive managed to get the video working in Windows Media player by turning down the acceleration within the Media player options.

Any ideas what the problems could be? never had this before.

Re-installed Directx 9.0c
Installed Divx, Latest version
Installed all windows updates
Using 91.xx on my graphics card, had these before I formatted.

Cheers ;)

Uninstall that. Then install FFDSHOW. Done.
Oh you need to adjust video brightness/overlay.

Installed FFDSHOW and still the same.

Its very very dark and some videos you can't even make them out, others you can just about. Would I need to change the overlay within the FFDSHOW settings?

Within videocard driver tabs.

That worked a treat, I clicked on restore defaults (Even tho I never touched them) and videos now look perfect.

Cheers for your help mate ;) :D
