Mum did some digging in my old room and found the whole console and controllers, cables, connectors, collection of games AND a floppy drive converter that plugs in ontop. She also so happened to find a box full of floppy disk games for said console! I have no idea how it all works though nor can i remember how it all works.

Is it even possible to connect everything up to a modern 4k tv?

I think it would connect through the normal aerial socket, wasted many hours on Jungle Strike and also it's predecessor Desert Strike

I'm having a nostalgia moment cos i remember every part of that game having done the same as you lol!

Spent so many hours on Cyborg Justice as well, i loved ripping limbs off and attaching them to yourself to upgrade .

Can mods move this to retro section, didn't realise we had one!

Thanks

Not had chance to test anything yet still, a little busy last night but planning on getting it all connected tonight and testing.

You won't be able to tune it via the RF socket. Modern TVs don't have analogue tuners.

I wonder if https://www.retrorgb.com/genesistriplebypass.html + https://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/RAD2X-CABLES/Mega Drive-2-RAD2X/SEGA-MEGA-DRIVE-2-GENESIS-2-32X-HD-RAD2X-HDMI-480P-CABLE would give the best quality for you.

Let's see more about this FDD adatper though!

This seems like a hell of a lot of work, maybe something i'll try.

I'll post some pics of it tonight, from what i remember it was a plug and play unit. Can't remember if it needed a power connector though.

get pics up of the floppy drive system, it would be good to see it in action too if you can set it up and make video.

Last day of work today! So i got free time tonight and tomorrow to tinker! Gonna be fun! Sorry keep delaying messing with this.

Right so finally gonna have some time tonight to dig it all out and see what connects to what and what i actually need to get it up and running.

Will do a full list of games i have including the floppy ones which from memory is a lot! How many of them actually work is anyones guess though lol.

Finally some images, sorry only a few months late lol! Ive come to realise that some of the floppy games are for my old Amiga Commodore 64, will need to work out which ones are for which system!

You now need to get a video up of that floppy system in action, i need to see how this all works its too good

I have most of the cables.. i think. I think Vince said i might need some inverters or converters for a Modern tv as well.

So going by the video and what im googled on the interwebs, it can play Nintendo and Snes games as well??

Need to check under the hood to see what pcb is under there.
