hi all, i new i had an old xpm somewhere and i have just found it! never overclocked this baby so i am gonna put her in my a7n8xe deluxe and see what i can get out of her!

what do you all reckon she will clock to?? closest wins a prize!! :D

here is the cpu info!(2600)aqzfa 0341 tpmw.

good luck and may the predictions commence!
i am hoping for 2500!

11.5 x 200 = 2300 Mhz 1.675v
12 x 200 = 2400 Mhz 1.75v
12.5 x 200 = 2500 Mhz 1.825v
13 x 200 = 2600 Mhz 1.875v

Above assumes you have a decent enough cooler and good CFM fan that can dissipate the heat fast enough for it to stay around 40c to 50c idle/50c to 60c load.

Might be a good idea to test with only 1 stick of ram probably something like a single sided stick of 256MB DDR400.

:D

EDIT: Actually IIRC your motherboard doesn't allow high Vcore? The max being something like 1.65v so maybe that board will hinder your overclocking attempts.

AQZFA wasn't a particularly good stepping, and I don't remember that many mobiles with them. 2.45 GHz is what I'd expect, at something like 1.8V. Obviously I hope you do better than that, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
