Just got 2ns Monitor, NEED HELP PLS!

just picked up a 2nd Samsung 913n, tried it on the main display out just to make sure its OK and it fine.

So i nipped to the dreaple purple shirt brigade place to pick up a DVI-Male to VGA Female adaptopr so the VGA cable from my monitor will plug into the pare DVI output on my 6800GT

Plugged it in and although im getting a picture up, the 2nd monitor (with the converter) has a really strange blue tint to it.

I tried swapping the monitors round and which ever one is plugged into the convertor has a blue tint.


Any ideas ?

sounds like a bad connection... make sure its screwed in tightly

hmm my 6800ultra lost the colour red from its 2nd dvi port wonder if yours is the same?

is the dvi convertor a fully pinned one? or doesnt it have all the pins (older convertors didnt as it wasn't needed...)

Using dual monitor on my 6800 gs one to the vga one to the dvi with a convertor and both have normal view...
