As above really. What CF cards are most people using in the 5D. I've been using Lexars in the 20D. A lot of people seem to be recommending the Sandisk Extreme III. Any advice out there. Hmmm but I'll have to flog the 20D to finance the new memory or has memory got that cheap?

Sandisk Ultra II's or Extreme cards are the mains cards worth checking out :)
P.S - Avoid getting them from e-bay

Nice camera :)

I've read the post on here about ebay and venders selling below speed cards. Is this info true for some of the power sellers as well

For the price of the cards now no need to use powersellers on ebay for them as the price is dropping in the shops.

Integral iPro 100x for me.

Especially as they are very good *used by several Pro's* and a 4gb one currently costs £76

Hence why I've got 3x2gb and 2x4gb

That's a nice price for 4Gb. I've got a couple of the 40x (I think) iPros and they're not bad but a fair bit slower than the Ultra IIs that I tend to use but I didn't know they did anything faster.

I managed to pick up some genuine 2Gb Ultra IIs for £65 each which suits me considering the last lot I got were £140 each  Mind you you can't have enough memory, I burned through 18Gb on both Saturday and Sunday at Goodwood.

Thanks for all the advice. I have some genuine Lexars 80X. But I've read that they can cause probs with the 5D. I got the firmware update last year so maybe I'll not have a problem. The transcends seem to be getting good review over on DPReview. The question is how do you know you are getting genuine memory from a seller before you got it into your hands
