just got a 27" Monitor and need help

I have just got the 27" Monitor from over clockers came this morning.

Its a Iiyama PLE2773hds Monitor and am running it on HDMI on its own and it won't fill the screen i have a 5850 Graphics card with the latest driver (just downloaded from AMD web site and it still won't fil the screen it has about 1 inch or so around it in black.

I am running windows 7 home perm 64 bit i am running the res at 1920 x 1080

do i need to do anything else to get this to work?

Just to add i have used the DVI port and it works fine. But i really wanted it on the HDMI port as my DVI will be used for a different monitor as soon as i get this working on the HDMI port

Check the scaling options (underscan/overscan) in CCC.
