just got a 360

ok decided i wanted to see gears of war in action and bought a 360. also bought lost planet which im rather enjoying too.

would like some advice on what to do next, what games are good - which orginal xbox titles are worth owning on the 360 and do i sign up for live? how much is it what are the benefits etc.

p.s. i also have tomb raider legend and pgr3 but havent played yet as they arent totally my cup of tea (even though they might be great!)

i like realism in games, cars to explode when they crash, players to die when shot etc. so please keep that in mind

If I were to rebuy all my stuff i'd go for:

Fight Night 3
Burnout
Saints Row
Oblivion
Condemned
Gears of War

and maybe Dead or Alive, Dead Rising, Rainbow Six, Tony Hawk & Smackdown depending on your taste.

Splinter Cell is a lot of fun and can be bought for around £25

If you want to stay in for a few months Oblivion is a stunning game

Yes, but only if you've got friends to play it with. There's always online of course.

Fight night is amazing with friends, it's a easy to pick off game so amateurs can play too however once you play more you do get better so theres a big level of skill involved once you've mastered it.

It was a launch title but project gotham 3 is still worth it , gears of course and if you like shooters , rainbow six , ghost recon , call of duty 3 , i cant wait for forza 2 i love racers

Condemned is definitely recommended, very good game and scary in parts. Another one id go for is GRAW and Rainbow 6..in fact any of the Tom Clancy games id recommend. Funny that i didnt play GRAW fully till about 8 months after i got it

Strange, I have had GRAW since just after Christmas, and yet I havent touched it, got past training the first day I got it, and dont play it. I keep meaning to play it.

To the OP, get Saints Row its really fun and will keep you playing for a while. Far Cry Insctincts is worth a buy too.

out of some of the first year released games, such as fight night round 3/kameo etc which are the ones to get, ive only really played new releases
