Just got a E6300 and I can only see one core?

Mobo:MSI P965 Neo
1GB Corsair Value Select DDR2 667

Can someone please help me? CPUz and Task Manager only show one core?

where can you only see one core? (i'm guessing in task manager) have you got sp2 installed? updated bios?

Fresh windows with all updates done. Task Manager still shows only one core? :confused:

Make sure the computer type in device manager is ACPI multiprocessor.

as i have said above make sure you have the latest bios for you motherboard!
