just got a nexus 7 2012 but need some help

hi guys wanted a tablet to try for ages and managed to pick up a new nexus 7 2012 for 89 quid which seemed to be a great tablet 10-12 months ago and will suit my needs perfect for my budget.

now i am pretty tech savvy but one thing i cant fathom


i have a lg tv which is a smart tv connected on the same network as my nexus.

is their anyway or any programs i can use that would stream it to the tv like pics,music and videos

Search the play store for LG TV Media player or just DNLA streaming. Should be plenty of apps, some might go straight to your TV, some might go through something like and xbox ps3 etc.

where did you pick one up for £89? pretty cheap even for the 2012 version

The place that sells phones in a big warehouse lol they have them for 99 new at minute but I know member of staff who gave me extra 10 per cent off they also doing the galaxy tab 3 7 inch for 79

Thats a great deal, kills me though as Ive been refurbishing them to sell. Cant compete with that.

Have you sorted the streaming issue?
 
Mine is very quick maybe its because when I got it I updated to kit kat instantly
Maybe you should do factory reset and then re update to kit kat then redownload the apps you need. I trty not to clutter mine with useless apps and reg run malware bytes and a cleaner seems to help or maybe my version is just newer manufacture date was may 2013

Stlii not managed to sort streaming :-(

Do you have an XBox PS3 or similar and what model is the TV?
If its a smart TV I'd guess its already DNLA enabled so would show up in the devices list to play on

ive got a xbox one but thats almost in beta stages for now lol

my tv is a lg lm620t which i use an old sky extender to connect it to the router this works fine as it connects to the net fine and i could also stream stuff from my laptop to the tv which was great.
