K so I am a bit late to the whole PSP scene, but managed to pick up a PSP 3000 and a couple of games for very cheap from GAME.

I was a bit peed to find that both my games (worms open warefare 2 and everybodys golf 2) don't have wifi as the servers have closed down.

So, I was wondering what are the essential PSP classics that I should buy?

Cheers :)

Anything really! I will grab God of War tomorrow after work, GAME have it for like 98p or something crazy like that.

I would really like an (3D) RPG of some sort as I feel that was what the DS Lite was lacking.

Are there any games with decent multiplayer as well?

Cheers guys :)

Metal Gear Solid - Peace walker, Final Fantasy Crisis Core, Tactics Ogre, God of War, Monster Hunter, Patapon, The 3rd Birthday. Any of the classic Final Fantasy remakes if you have not played them before.

Thats a large variety of genres and all personal must buys if you own a psp!

Cheers guys, will get on it tomorrow after work! Final Fantasy is a great recommendation as I have never played any of them :)

Thanks again

Not sure if the servers have closed down but I remember when I had a PSP and Everybody's golf 2, even though the PSP supports WPA security for wifi, many of the games don't:confused: Everybody's golf will not find any games while you have WPA enabled. Can't remember if lets you use WEP but you feel daring, turn off your router security and try and find a game.

Hmm, no-one (even myself) has mentioned LittleBigPlanet yet.
It's worthwhile picking up, I really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the levels that came with the game and there are some decent user generated downloads available. :)

I don't have a PS3 so this is the only version of the game I have played.
