Just received delivery of my new Creative Zen 16GB today and the screen is cracked. Looks like some extreme pressure was applied to it. Immediately picked up the phone to contact the company I bought it from and apparently they need to launch an investigation into why the screen was cracked, this will take ten days or so I was told. Unfortunately they forgot to take into account my need to have my newly purchased Zen replaced. The guy on the phone wouldn't even confirm whether the Zen would be replaced or not!

Grrr... it's things like this which make me reconsider internet shopping.
 
That's what I thought as well but obviously not.

The main thing I'm worried about is them coming back and saying that it's not their fault the screen is broken and hence they don't have to replace it ad since that will be ten days from now it will be outside the distance sellers act window ie seven days.
