just got an Ipad, what do I need to use for presentations?

as title please, Im hoping to use this as a presentation aid, what wiring do I need to do this? Im based in a hospital, so it wont be the fanciest computer Im connecting too.

I think what he means is to connect the iPad to a TV screen. In which case, you need the iPad/iPhone to HDMI adapter, about £15 from Apple, and a HDMI cable

to connect to a computer, Ive seen people present and swipe the ipad to change presentation slides.

software and a wifi connection then, as far as I'm aware there is only one way to connect an iPad to a PC and thats with a USB.

Either use software to VNC it or just HDMI it to a TV

I know the guy presenting used a cable to comp and it was flawless, super presentation. He was able to use a pen on the ipad to look closer at object on the screen. conneting to a tv isnt an option as its going via projector and the projector is in the ceiling. is it something simple like an av cable?

Honestly mate, I have no idea, as far as I'm aware you either plug into a TV, VNC it or plug directly into a projector. No idea about plugging in and remotely controlling a PC as there are far easier ways to do it wirelessly

he was probably mirroring to an apple tv connected to the projector

If you're connecting direct to a TV or a projector that will take the relevant cable just buy the adaptor from Apple as above.

If the projector is connected to a Mac, use keynote remote.
