Just got an iPhone!!

Well its not 'free' added extra. THe £35/month is because they make it look better by offering you 'free' internet ;).

The unlimited data bolt-on can be changed to another bolt-on instead if you like.

Also, the O2 insurance is really expensive. Most of the time phones are covered under house insurance depending on your policy, otherwise do it on line with a mobile insurer. It's usually just over £2 a month.

I have mobile insurance with my Barclays bank account but i dont think ill be able to insure my iphone on it, im gonna try because that will save me 7.50 a month. I have gadget insurance with barclays too, all included in my bank account monthly fee but i cant insure my xbox 360 for some reason so i dont think im allowed to insure my ipod.

And i asked if the bolt on could be changed and the lovely lady didnt know so she asked the asian lad who ignorantly said no its set as it is for a reason and it cant be changed, which i dont mind anyway as id like to have my wap free so i can access the tintanet for free whilst on the bus!!

My contract is better then that.

That contract adds up to 630 for 18 months, plus anytime you go over the allocated texts, plus the insurance whereas mine comes to around 1k for 18 months including the phone, insurance and the unlimited text bolt-on, i could save myself 135 f i cancel either my Bolt-on or my insurance, or 270 if i cancel both..

I prefer the deal i got.

50pm and i have unlimited texts 600 mins, fee internet, fully covered insurance and a phone... Im more then happy with what ive got.

Bit of dumb question, you've been warned!

My 02 contract runs out in 2 months time and I was wondering if any of you guys managed to get the new iPhone before your contract ended.

It says on the 02 website;
With O2 but don't have an iPhone?

Existing O2 customers can also switch to iPhone 3G. We'll contact you when you're eligible for an upgrade and talk you through the best options.

I get the feeling 02 calls you when your your contract ends.

By the sounds of it to me they will contact you - they probably reserve them for their higher end users who could upgrade to that before ending their contracts. But you can get one anyways once ** contract is fully over.
