Just got an overclocked bundle, question about CPU temp

I brought the Argon Intel Core i3 2.93GHz @ 4.00GHz Overclocked Bundle

This is my temperatures from SpeedFan.

Is that about right?

It seems quite hot...and also my room over the weekend was very hot and humid...

what are your load temps? Fire up prime95 or intel burn test for a few minutes.

Mayaswell hijack this thread for my questions aswell, recently built a new system, amd 965Bd + fenrir. Idle just under 40 dependent on weather, one case fan is broke so should be lower when replacement arrives. Prime hits 55 but then seemed to cool back down to 45-50 I can't remember exactly, is this normal? I have no idea on whats good and bad these days

Thats nothing.

You can go up to an upper limit of 70-80 degrees (maximum) depending on your cooling. I used to set myself a limit of 65 degrees when clocking my E6600.

I now have an i7 bundle I got last week from OcUK and upon loading it up I get 80C degrees maximum. (Warm day!).
