....and all i can say is WOW. what a show :D

The show opened with the touch the sky video being played on the big screen and everybody was getting hyped. around half way through the bass line kicked in and everybody went crazy. If been to quite a few shows, but that's by far the best opening i've seen.

The songs were fantastically performed, the girls on the violins added brilliantly to the music, as did the backing singers and the DJ...he was unreal. The atmosphere there was electric and Kanye is a top top performer.

The small snippets of music he played between songs were great. I never thought id here a sell out Kanye croud singing along a-ha's take on me...but we did lol, as well as prince and MJ. The girls version of bitter sweet symphony was very good as well.

At the end of the night He performed bring me down, and on the projection screen behind him were quotes from various sources on his ego, his imfamous comparing himself to jesus, all the negative reviews he got and acapella'd his responce to those people. From the effort he put in tonight I can honestly say he is a performer of the highest caliber and he doesn't deserve the hate he seems to get at all. If people think he has such a huge ego then tbh he has a right to one. What a performer.

That concert tonight was fantastic:)

Most of the material was from Late registration, but he managed to throw in Jesus Walks, Breath in breath out (what a track live), Slow Jam and Through the Wire:) everbody was singing along:)

Not forgetting All Falls Down and Spaceship. Those were played at manchester on thursday anyways.

And to agree, brilliant concert, top DJ and a Great evening.

I was there too, my god what a set, although this was my first gig (can't believe i'm 22 and never been to one), so don't really have anything to base it on, but from what i heard from my bro, it doesn't really get a lot better than this.

I was gearing myself up for a dissapointment when he first came on with Diamonds From Sierra Leone, as the sound quality was really bad, too much bass which left you not really being able to make out his lyrics, but from then on it got better and better! The little interludes were a masterstoke, A-track is a seriously skilled DJ, not to mention the Unfinished Symphony strings section, why was the asian violenist dancing and singing more than the rest of the girls? As for the a-ha medley, never thought i would witness Kanye doing a little jig!!

Highlight of the show had to be Hey Mama, and the roar that went up when Gold Digger came on had my hairs standing on end. Can't remember what song he played that got the whole crowd singing for him, but that has to be one of my favs of the night.

By the end of the night i was bouncing along with the best of them, throwing my diamond shapes in the air, and just very very impressed with the caliber of his performance, rest assured, next time he's in town i'm going to first in line, just hope he releases a dvd of the tour.

I was impressed with the time he spent on stage, i had been told that we would be lucky to see him for more than 45 mins, when an hour and a half had passed and the 20th odd song had been played i was sure i had got my money's worth.

What more can i say? Just awesome, if all gigs are as good as this i'm soon going to be a poor man! I would so reccomened that you try and get tickets for this show!

kanye west is fantastic, not a big rap fan but the guy has a wicked talent for writing. Spaceship is one of my fave songs on college dropout but no one else i know likes it that much.

Agreed its def one of my fav songs on the album,

8. Never Let Me Down
6. Spaceship
17. Two Words
18. Through the Wire
4. All Falls Down
12. Slow Jamz

never let me down is my favourite too, followed by spaceship, then family business then slow jamz. Brilliant album. Who cares if hes arrogant, hes got a right to be. The last rap album this good was when Dre was at his peak with the chronic and 2001.

you lucky git, i was meant to go see him in manc, but mates couldnt afford £50 a ticket from fleabay so we ended up going to see omid djalili :(
