Just took the beasty out the box (She smells soo good).

Does it need calibrating or anything?

Any tips from any seasoned owners?

The force feedback is a LOT more powerfull than I expected.

Cannot get rFfactor to recognise the wheel for some reason, any ideas?

Thanks all.

Im sure i'll be back with more questions later :)

I'm sorry if this sounds like a daft question but can the G25 be made to work on the XBox 360?

How are you getting on with the wheel btw?

Install drivers from CD, or download from logitech website, then Control Panel > Game Controllers. Turn off the 'reporting of combined pedals', and increase FFB strenght to 101%. This helps solve some of the slack the wheel has about the centre point.

Not sure about rFactor, but LFS works best with all other sliders at 0%, but with the centering spring ticked as on.

It should automatically calibrate when you boot the machine as long as it is plugged in, or will do it just after you plug it in with the PC on. It goes lock-to-lock, and can cause the wheel to move across the floor if you're not careful.

The same question was asked on LFS forums just today, it doesn't work out of the box and doesn;t look likely that anyone will make it work any time in the near future.

Thanks Beano, yep just been reading up . Its down to micro$oft wanting everyone to buy there wheel. I wont bother with a wheel on xbox360. I'll be back PC gaming when I finally get my back operation and can sit at the computer desk again
