just got given a ds- best games?

Morning OCUK,

Yesterday my mum found her Nintendo DS Lite, which we had both forgotten she had. She then gave it to me but I have been happily ignoring the DS for the past eight years so have no idea what games are the essentials kind of thing. What games should I get for my surprise games console?
 
Pokemon games. Mario kart, Mario 64, castlevsnia games. I've been out if the loop for a while but they're all solid. Zelda games too.
