Just got my 1008he

Seems prertty good so far!
Nice thin and light, taking a while to get used to the keyboard, even if its 92% size!
Anything I should do to make best use of it?

How do I unistall windows messenger again? I can't see it in control panel.....

if it starts up when you log into windows it will be in Start - Programs - Startup, then just right click properties then there should be an option in there to uninstall or go to the path where its stored.

Doesnt start up when I log in.
It's just annoying being in the start menu, and not being able to unistall it. I only thought msn live was this bad to unistall!

is this the old version of msn? the one you need to get rid of via add/remove windows components?

start, control panel, add/remove programs and then select add/remove windows components from the three options down the side

As themadhggis said, add remove programs> remove windows components and then untick windows messenger.

I thought about getting the 1008ha last week in the sales but ended up getting a Lenove S10-2 instead mainly due to the easy upgradability of the Lenovo, that and my misses wanted a white one and didnt like the black bezel on the Asus where as the Lenovo we bought is completely white ...women

I got mine off the tree folk as I had vouchers there. I got the all black one as I wanted a black notebook, failing that it would have been the midnight blue, or what ever its called.
