Just got my copy of 300 HD-DVD :)

I really enjoyed this when I saw it at the cinema and have been waiting for this release to HD for sometime. All I can say this really is a well done conversion from the big screen to the HD format. Now the features on this disk surpass anything that has preceeded. the extras that I have viewed have all been in HD and the game that is included on the disk is a nice touch as well plus all the web based stuff which I haven't even touched yet.

Now I have only seen a few scenes from the disk but it is simply stunning even though the film has a lot of post processing to make it look very grainy like sin city the movie is simply stunning the detail is just amazing and although the fake blood still looks a bit off this doesn't detract from the overall atmosphere and feel of the film.

Now if only I could get some piece of software to capture screen shots I could then share them with you to show how good this looks.

I think this is a film that is certainly on par if not better than my ultimate matrix hd collection. Now just waiting for the LOTR collection to come out on HD and then I will be very happy.

i have tried it before and once the hd-dvd is closed down the image is just saved as a black screen.

Other than using some sort of hdtv capture card I can't see an easy way of doing it.

are you trying to print screen or using VLCs inbuilt snapshot feature?

Use the snapshot feature and it will capture.

You can't print screen video files because they are overlay graphics (flash videos not included, so you can print screen youtube etc.)
