Just got my I9 10900K is this a good temp?

Doing some testing on an I9 10900K, 32GB 3200mhz ram, Asus Aorus Elite with a NH-D15 using thermal compound, and at 1.28V 4.8GHZ in Battlefield 2042 of which I played 6 rounds it never went over 45C and all cores stayed at 4.8GHZ.

I purchased the system through marketplace through oldestgregg and going to test it over the weekend before giving feedback

Less than 50c on a 125W chip? Not bad at all in my books.

to be fair anything under 60 is good on anything

less than 50c on a i9 is excellent

45c under load in a game known to stress CPUs quite heavily is obviously good.

45c is amazingly low. Don’t suppose you have the steeping and batch?

For ref Ryzen 5900X ,3800 mem, all core 4.6 under load with the same HSF levels off at 64c ish.

gpu limited in that game then. run linpack or prime95 avx then let us know the temps, if its still working that is.
