Just got my new 3700+ Sandy Retail, Good Stepping?

Hi guys i received my new sandy 3700 this morning from "this week only" and i'm just wandering if anyone has this stepping or knows if it is any good - KAB2E 0547 DPEW?

The good news is it's not a failed dual core! No idea on the stepping though, keep us posted!

excellent , unfortunately i won't be able to properly attempt to overclock it until i get my ram back from RMA i'm currently stuck with some pc2700 2x256mb Twinmos stuff running 2.5-3-3-7

Whats the thought on burning in a new cpu? a quick google on my stepping i found some foreign guy got 3ghz out of it with 1.5v which is nice

Yeah some say burning in is tripe, others report decent results. You can still clock it, just whack the ram on a divider!

Fingers crossed, this isn't failed dual core - how can you tell?

I found out my stepping from here

It seems the SD 3700+ can be CG, E4 or E6

Mine is E4 - now I need to find out what it means!

2nd letter of the stepping would be a B if it were a failed Dual Core. Yours isnt either
