Just got my new 4200! :D

Initial reports look promising.. I stuck it in, forgot to clear the BIOS and it booted with the same settings as my old 3700. Seems to be running ok in Windows at 2.75GHz, going to have to prime it now, see if its actually stable.

Do I have to install anything to get the full benefits of the processor? I've read things about a dual core patch?

The dual core patch can help resolve some stuttering and freezing problems people have found with dual core processors

theres a microsoft hotfix , a amd hotfix to fix stuttering in games ,and a recently released amd dual core optimizer .........i installed it on 2 systems and it kept giving the BSOD so i uninstalled that !!! but it prob works well with a fresh install and latest hardware drivers!
