In the end bought a new TFT (Samsung 730BF), after an extensive use of CRT I only can say that I love this monitor!! Thanks for the recomendation guys.
Only downside is the menu navigation, having fun trying to set up the correct levels of colour, brightness... etc for me.
Special thanks to Badass, thanks a lot for the advises you've writen in many different threads.
Good piece of equipment.
