just got my thermaltake....

What are the case front microphone/headphone connectors like - have you hooked those up correctly? If not, then the PC might think you've got the headphones on and mute the sound to the speakers.

Most motherboard pin-outs require 2 pins to be jumpered or the motherboard thinks the case front panel is in use and mutes the sound. Your motherboard manual wil tell you which ones - either that or just put the case headers on in the right places and it will probably work fine again.

I'm not so sure, it seems the WEM's on HMS Chatham are having trouble calibrating their subsonic communications - something about bass rumble?

hmm, scarely similar situation i have, thermaltake soprano...just found that the sound wont work either, i have connected the top sound deeley in the right place, but no sound at all

u followed the manual to the letter as to which way round to connect?? also there are two sound cables in the tt depending on your board you will use a different one....i used the ac97
