Ok Just got lucky in argos picked up a premium, last one.

Setting up my online profile and connecting to live. Got to the bit where it says choose subscription. I thought you got a month gold for free?

Or do i just choose the silver package?

Choose Silver, it then informs you of your free month.

Just choose the sliver package and it will update you to 1 months gold subscription automatically.

Thanks guys for the help, just spent an hour or so on PGM, need to play with the settings a little as the picture on my dell 2405 wasnt as good as my crt downstairs. But it was still damn good.

Found it hard to turn off, but the house is a state and if the wife walks in today with boxes everywhere and me glued to the xbox I will likely die

Yeah the drive is a little noisy but Once i'm gaming I forget all about it. Just need to cut holes in the desk to run the additional cabling about

If you're using component, then yes, switch to HD.

hey up, i think you might get slightly better results with the vga cable, but not worth it really.

I used the + and - on the front of the monitor(2405) to change the brightness and contrast its not in the normal main menu. I have mine on 54 and 50 i think PGR looks much better now.
