I would play Oblivion but i just seem to get far to many crash to desktops to make it playable That and i dont actually find it very fun, its just a bit dull and the combat is very clumsy.
heh just started. You can do quests in any order, so just head to the nearest town and talk to everybody, exhaust all chat options. Might need to use bribe/dial thingy (boring) Getting good stuff takes a while, especially magic. Use gold cheat. I can understand why people find this game boring, as it only has one main quest but dozens of side-quests that you don't have to complete to finish the game. And going round talking to npc/main characters is a bit dull....but adds realism to the game
My advice is similar to that already offered - when you reach the open world, visit the near places of interest on your map (make sure you download the mod which makes the map bigger - it's great) and then do the first two stages of the main quest. After that, just travel around the place visiting the various cities and joining guilds......the game is so open-ended that you can play for 40 hours without touching the main quests - which is what I did - loved it Just loaded it up on my new system and it looks a million times better.......there's a good chance I may get hooked again
I'm stuck on a quest for the mages. There's a cave outside of Skingrad called Bloodcrest cave and it's full of vampires that those vampire hunters are trying to find. What's his name from Skingrad castle wants them out of Skingrad and the vampires taken care of.
I told Eridor where to find them but did the vampire killing myself (don't know why). Now the vampire hunters won't budge/leave skingrad unless I murder them. What the hell?
I started as a Kahjit to, i clocked up about 60+ hrs just wandering about looking at the scenery really, and just cleaning caves out, i really should get into it.
