wow it's different lol, really weird but i like it.

anyone else got it?

pitty it's not black to match me start bar and all, anyway of changing this?
 
Too much bloat for me with all the images instead of text.

It's not bad, it's just the interface in the previous Office is much better in my opinion.

edit: Just figured out how to get rid of all the image menus. :)

Thought there is Black, Silver and Blue themes for Office 2007?

Open Word click top left circle and go to 'word options' then in right hand panel click drop down bar 'colour scheme' !!

I have Silver atm :D

lol didn't see that, not it all looks class to match my vista like theme
 
Had the Beta's and now got the Final version, tis supoib, really like the new interface :)
 
We just got 10 copies though MAPS at work :D

I used the first beta and it was good, but the final version is brilliantly polished off. Some people may not like the new GUI, but i do and i can see why they did it. The reason for the "Ribbon" as its known is that while previous versions of office also had soooo many features and options, you never knew where most of them were, it was always digging through menu after menu. With the ribbon it is 5 or 6 easy tabs with examples of what each option does, and being dynamic it changes depending on what your doing at that moment.

The main reason i've heard for people disliking it is that it takes up precious deskspace. This isn't so much of a problem any more with screens getting bigger with high resolutions, but i wouldn;t like to try it on an old 14 incher.
This point was raised during the beta, and i'm glad to see that the final version has not only tweaked the layout of the top bar (in the first beta there was a lot of unused space at the top) but i beleive they have also added the option to change it back to the old style menus as well.

All in all, i think it is well worth the upgrade, and i'm gonna enjoy playing around with it more.

Bless you s'ah! That blue was making me really really nauseous! Changed to the much sexier black now :cool:

I'm running the Beta 2 TR atm, but I'll probably get Home & Student edition when it expires as I only ever use Word, Excel and Powerpoint!
