I've just transferred my system into a silver PC-7+
I think this case is the best 50 odd quid i've spent. It really is superb and I can see why Yewen and the others recommend it. A couple of things:

1) The supplied fans are bloody noisy. Can anyone recommend quieter fans with comparable airflow? (running an x2 overclocked to 2.64 and a TTBT)
2) I got the window kit for the case too. There seems to be a fair old gap at the top join. Like its not fitting quite flush although the panel is idefinitely in. I'll get a pic for you guys in a bit.

Any general tips for quietening this case down at all?

Thanks

Well on the note of the fans personally I didn't bother trying the stocks ones and as soon as the case arrived I put some Akasa Ambers in it which are nice and quiet. I don't know how much quieter in comparason they are though...but I don't notice the noise of them, only of my HDD and my CPU and GPU coolers. :)

As for the side pannel I can't help with that, I have the stock side on mine, as I'm not a fan of windows.

I had an Asaka Amber lying around at home, and I stuck it in my machine and it was noisey as hell.

Had to buy some Yate Loon's, I got two for about 7 quid off a well known auction site. :)

I can say they are really nice, kicking out a good bit of air and very quiet, I had 7v both of mine so they are deadly silent. :P

is it only the fans that are noisey or are you getting any other vibrations?
if so then jsut some 7v quiet fans will do nicely as suggested.

I have PC7+ stock fans on 7v. I think they are pretty quiet, the system is overall. I'm considering changing them, but i'm not even sure it'd make that much difference. Using them at 7v and with all my components chosen as low noise, my system is quieter than any other i've heard, but then I haven't heard that many and you can still hear it despite it being quiet. I don't have dB ratings though, a lot quieter than at 12v though if that helps :)

Having used the ADDA, Yates and Ambers I would put them in this order for noise.

12v:

Yates
Ambers
ADDA

7v:

Yates / Ambers (nout in it but the Yates appear to push more air, although not enough to lower temps)
ADDA

5v

Ambers
ADDA
Yates with a high pitched whine

Is that with the quietest at the top or noiseyist?

How about these?

Sharkoon 120mm Silent Eagle 1000 Case Fan 19 dB(A)

Seem to push decent air too.
P.S. The window thing was user error :D lol

Cheers
