Got this game after seeing people rate it high on here.

Heard somthing about a realism patch. I have found it but am wondering if I should put it on ASAP or play the game abit first (vanilla)

Any tips for playing?

You could see what its like and play it normally first.

But i would just go right a head and put the patch on. Reason being is that you want need to reinstall the game again because it needs to ahve a fresh install for the patch to work propperly

What he said.

You can also be all the civerlizations from start.

And the Unit detail is higher and there are more of them :)

The world map is also bigger :)

Its not a cheat ;)
It actually can make it harder and give you more land to conqure ;)
I find the AI is a bit better aswell ;)

Its far from a cheat
