Saw it at work today and did abit of reading when I got in and the reviews it got where very nice so bought one. Very impressed with the case design which has some serious quality put into it, to those who havent seen a current DV2699 HP laptop its a special edition with a painted tattoo effect in a few weird colours all over it, including the touchpad and around the keyboard + back of lcd.
Get a matching mouse and sleeve with the same design and the mouse has a usb stick which hides at the base of it and even comes with a carry pouch. Biometric reader as standard and the spec is pretty damn quick.

Got loads of lovely neon blue lights on it and a lot of the controls react to touch including the volume control which you slide your finger across to the quick play menu buttons. Get a nifty remote control which hides away in the PCMIA socket and the laptop has a HDMI output which gives one hell of a picture on my 40 inch samsung tele. Well impressed!
