and she loves it so far. But can anyone reccomend what games that use the motion elements of the controllers a lot and are fun (girly games) rather than FPS affairs. Just have the packaged game and the wiiplay one so far.

Cheers

Don't have it myself, but isn't Zelda meant to be good for this?

I wouldn't have thought so. What about Cooking Mama? Though she should really be cooking for real ;)
Too right. I hope he has it set up in the kitchen... women should know their place :p

Thanks for the suggestions. Yeah I did think of Super Monkey Ball but the reviews are so poor for it I thought it may be a waste of money.
I think the reviews are so harsh because the previous version of SMB, on the Gamecube, was such a good game. It was always going to be hard living up to expectations after SMB 2, let alone when you factor in the fact that they switched to a different console and are using a new controller.

I bought the game 2nd hand - I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it, as I don't think it merits £30. However, that's not to say that it's a bad game... it's just not as good as SMB 2 was. If you wife hasn't played any previous Monkey Ball games then she won't have anything to compare it against, so may be more forgiving.

Saying that, I still think Cooking Mama and Wario Ware would be better options ;)

raving rabbits or whatever it's called?

My wife use to love this but complained it hurt her boobs as it made them wobble too much.

I loved her playing it mind you!! ;)

SuperMonkey Ball is a blast though, the minigames in there (about 50) are good fun. *edit* Ignore ALL reviews, it's a fantastic game.

J didn't you say eledees was great too? or is it called korrpipinnanananana now or sommit?

Eledees is absolutely brilliant. It shows what the Wii is capable of in terms of how much information it can shift at once and is as colourful as as a bucket full of puked up skittles.

Korrinpinappapa (get it right! :p ) is really good, although I did prefer Mercury Meltdown between the two as it was more challenging.

Rayman - Raving Rabbids.

Probably the best use of the remotes yet.

Wario ware is a must have for your missus then its the funniest game i ever played in my life, you look a right twit if you play it mid day though with curtains wide open.

The new Harry potter game that just came out is surprisingly well made, so if she is into all things potter that may be a good one to look at. It also offers something with a little more substance than mini games and the motion casting of spells is quite fun. Beware the camera can be fussy at times though not so much that it spoils the game.

I know all this because my gf just finished it and had a lot of fun, not like I played it myself at all.........
