I want to be able to play Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 on it and wondered how much hassle would it be to put a new graphics card in, also,

What card should i go for?
How much should i expect to pay?
Would i need to upgrade anything else at same time?
Woould it play Pro Evolution online ok?

I have pro evo 6 and it stutters like hell even at lowest settings/resolution etc

Thanks in advance

No, take it back and say the salesman lied. Get your money back and buy a Dell Vostro 1500 with an 8600m GT. It won't be amazing but a lot better than the x200.

Vostro™ 1500 NB (N1015002)

1.6ghz Core 2 Duo
2GB DDR2
160GB HD
8600GT 256mb

£575 (change the warranty to one year).

What do expect buying a laptop from them? No you can't upgrade laptop videocards. I have no idea how demanding that game is.

I will never make another pc related purchase without consulting on this forum beforehand. I learnt that very quickly after registering not so long ago.

yeah, the bloke said it would run all the latest titles!!!!:mad:

it might run em but not in a playable way:mad:

I has a radeon xpress 200m in it, cant i take that out and put something else in?

You have every right to return it then, the salesman mis-informed you and no, you can't take out the 200m to swap it with something better.

Get a dell vostro 1500, they are great laptops for the price.. i guarantee u wont get better for the price range. Think its 500-600.

comes with a 8600m GT card aswell. Great gaming laptop for the price imo.

Check out the link here, gives a good idea http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Graphics-Cards-Benchmark-List.844.0.html great little list i came across a couple of months ago.

yep you're right and complicated - its far and away from being "plug and play" just yet. (ie just slot it in and its good to go)
