Just had my first ever........

..........bacon and banana toasted sandwich.

For our Friday sandwich run at work, a couple of my South African colleagues had these and insisted it was worth a try. Gave it a go this afternoon and I have to say, I liked it. It seemed weird beforehand, but I really enjoyed it. Has anybody else tried this before?

I've had banana wrapped in bacon at BBQs before - it's very wierd, but tastes absolutely lovely!

yeah doesn't sound too good, but I might have to try it sometime...

My mam spreads banana on toast, I often give her wierd looks... Apparently it's really nice though...

not tried it really want to try American pancakes which is pretty much the same.
